"Listed" means the vendor lists this module on its public website. "Not published" means we could not confirm it from public sources, not that the vendor lacks it. Prices change; confirm with each vendor. Kyros Trials is our product.

Choose a workflow, not a checklist

A product can list a module without showing how the site uses it. Compare the same sample protocol across vendors: anchor Day 1, inspect a visit window, enter source, answer a query and follow an earned procedure into billing. Ask who can see each record and what evidence stays attached after a correction.

Choose an established specialist when its particular workflow, implementation resources and existing integrations fit your site. A focused binder platform can be appropriate when your CTMS already works well. A broader institutional CTMS may fit research operations that require more than a small independent-site workflow. There is no single best platform for every site.

Published pricing versus a scoped quote

Kyros Trials publishes Starter at $299 per month, Site at $599 per month and Network at $499 per location per month. Core workflows and unlimited users are included; AI requires the appropriate plan and configuration. For other vendors, request a written quote matching your studies, users, locations and required products.

Not published means the reviewed public material did not establish the fact. It does not mean a feature is absent, a vendor is hiding a charge or a quoted price would be higher. Ask about onboarding, migration, support, monitor accounts, renewal, export and archive arrangements. Compare annual and monthly commitments separately.

What a fair evaluation records

Record the source, review date and any assumptions next to each fact. A vendor page is evidence that the vendor lists a product; it is not an independent verification of deployment, performance or regulatory suitability. Avoid treating a third-party starting price as a current all-module quote.

Choose Kyros Trials if your team wants connected core site workflows and published subscription terms, and the sample records and procurement review support your intended use. Choose another vendor if its demonstrated workflow, contract, support or specialized requirements fit better. Inspect the same tasks with the people who will actually perform them.

Migration belongs in the comparison

Ask each vendor how you obtain participants, visits, documents, negotiated fees, signatures and historical audit records. Check the destination field mapping before agreeing that an export is sufficient. Your current system should remain available for retention and reconciliation; confirm read-only access terms with its provider.

The switching guide describes a sample review timeline and the current participant/visit CSV mapping. Assisted document and fee-schedule review is a separate scope. Free migration does not guarantee that another system’s historical signing events can be reconstructed. Keep sample verification and unresolved exceptions in the adoption decision.
